I Love....

Chai Tea.

I love, love, love Chai tea!

I get this tea whenever I can. It makes me happy in the daytime and relaxed in the night time. I have been drinking the at home, Lipton, bag kind for years. I have been giving it to my eldest daughter since she was 2 to calm her down and help her sleep at night. She is now 8 and has a love of cinnamon and tea lol.

A very good friend of mine has recently discovered how wonderful this special tea is in latte form. as she was so addicted to this liquid gold, I gave it a try too. I needed to see what all the fuss was about. Shouldn't have done that, should I? Bad move for the thighs lol.

I now have a rather nasty addiction. I don't go out and buy the stuff everyday because I do have some self control. It probably helps that I have 8 month old twins and find it very difficult to leave the house or I might just feed my addiction.

Every time I head to the shops, I MUST HAVE A CHAI LATTE. I have started having it with skim milk to try and fight the guilt but it is still bad, bad, bad and I just can't stop. that cinnamony, condensed milky flavour is just too much to ignore. When I walk past a cafe it is screaming out my name. DRINK ME........DRINK ME NOW!

It used to be the White Chocolate Mocha but that now does not even come close. So what gets you? What is your vice? What is your little guilty pleasure? i know you have one hehehehehe.

Just For Today

A friend shared this poem with me a few years ago and it's something that I go back to regularly. Sometimes I forget that they won't be little forever.

So I had a couple of strange dreams this week.

The first was about an old friend of mine. We'll call her Kylie. In the dream I hadn't seen her in a while, which is true in real life as well. We were so happy to see each other. The only difference was that she looked the same as she looked back in the 90's. So odd. The dream then jumped to a hospital where someone, not sure who, was lying in a hospital bed, hooked up to lots of tubes and a ventilator. It felt as though they were quite a bit older. Kylie was there too and knew this person but never said who they were.

Anyway, when I woke up, my first thought was that I wondered if Kylie's mother was ok. Keeping in mind that I hadn't seen Kylie in ages.

So later on that day, I went out with my mother and lo and behold there was Kylie! Of course as in the dream, we were really happy to see each other but she didn't look as she had looked in the 90's. She did however look completely different and almost unrecognisable, also very beautiful, after a dramatic weight loss. Nothing was mentioned about her mother though so I'm thinking that maybe the whole hospital thing was because Kylie had recently undergone surgery which had some complications and that on this day she was meeting my mother for the first time. Sometimes I do get my wires crossed.

The second dream involved someone who I have never met before but it seems that I am supposed to get the message out there because the name was screamed out to me. Becc Zarb. If you exist and I realise there could be more than one of you. I do also think that if one of you should find this it would be the right Becc Zarb. I haven't looked you up yet but need to let you know that your beige handbag was taken by the blonde with the black car. She was wearing a white singlet and her hair was straightened using straightening irons. She smelled like she would've been wearing a musky/oriental perfume. You know her. You were in her car the day she stole your bag and she still has the bag. She was talked into taking it by her boyfriend thinking that money could be gained. I also think that she now has the bag under the front passenger seat of her car so it's worth having a look if you get the chance. Hopefully my dream has been helpful.

My "Visitor"

So just before Christmas I was getting ready for bed when I noticed that someone had walked into my bedroom. When I say someone, I mean, a person from the spirit world. I was convinced that this person was a lady but didn't know who she was, so I just got on with surfing the web as I sometimes do before bed. I knew she was harmless so eventually just went to sleep.

The next night, exactly the same thing happened, but the energy coming off her was so amazing that I couldn't ignore her. Even my body was itching. I felt like there were baby spiders crawling all over me which has been known to happen when a strong energy is around me. This time though, I decided not to ignore her and said "Hello" to be polite. For all I knew she could've lived in the house before I moved in so she had just as much a right to be there as I did.

After about an hour she was still hovering around, so I did what any normal person would do (lol) and I set up my voice recorder on my mobile phone and left it next to my bed before I fell asleep. I also asked the woman who she was and invited her to speak. I then promptly fell asleep as I had been Christmas shopping with 4 children and was completely exhausted by that time.

The next day I reviewed the recording and noticed that there were indeed some strange things going on. Last week I found the time to cut the sound clip so that I can post the interesting bits. Call me crazy but i can hear a woman in the first clip say " Oh, open wide." and in the second, she runs up to my phone, which was right next to my head (you are able to hear me and hubby breathing / snoring lol) and picks it up to have a play. It's quite remarkable.

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to upload sound clips onto Blogger so I will attempt to put these onto my Facebook page.

Anyway, if you can, have a listen and be sure to let me know of any thoughts.

Can't Figure It Out

Hello there,

I just felt that I needed to share this dream that I had last night. I had only been asleep maybe 10 minutes and but it was crazy.

All I can remember is and old woman, about 80 and another woman, about 50. They knew each other well. They sort of felt like mother and daughter. Anyway, the older woman, who I think may be called Margaret says to the younger woman, who I think is something like Julie, " Let me get your partner.", then she walks off. It was like watching a movie.

Margaret comes back and sits down on a chair that has suddenly appeared, turns to Julie and says, "You know she never loved you.", then turns to me, with an awful look in her eyes and this music starts to play. It was like the danger music that they put in suspense films.

In my dream I started to tell myself to wake up because I felt as though Margaret was taking all of my energy. I was screaming, "Wake up! Wake up now!". Then I did wake up for real and the feeling I felt was so unusual. As though Margaret had been standing right next to me. Very strange. I hadn't experienced a dream like that before and I'm not sure of what to make of it. I wonder if she'll visit me again tonight. I'll be sure to let you know.

Does anyone else out there have strange dreams they'd like to share? Feel free to post. I'd like to hear about them.

Until next time xxx

Family

I have a family. As I'm sure you all do. But I think that my family are one of a kind. I'm told this often and I tend to think that they are pretty special.
I have an 'almost hubby' (i say "almost" because we have managed to stay together for 11 years without marrying *gasp*), who is wonderfully bulky and is the quiet in our crazy household.
Then there is my Mr 10 who is amazingly kind and caring and has an obsession with anything techie. His current loves are Ninjago and PlayStation 3.
We then have a Miss 7, who turns 8 in a couple of weeks, who is clever and witty and slightly crackers. In her private little world she thinks that she is a teacher and everyday she teaches her class. Her current obsession are paper products, pens and high heel shoes.
Last but definately not least, we have Miss 5 months and Mr 5 months. Yes that's right folks, I have boy/girl twins. They are at that age when all they want is to be cuddled and talked to and not much else goes on at the moment. Minimal housework. Minimal cooking and minimal laundry. we very rarely leave the house as this is a task of great proportions and by the time we get anywhere I am completely exhausted and ready for a snooze. But I love them to death and certainly don't want a refund.....today lol.
Add to that, my parents who live in a granny flat attached to my house and the comings and goings of sisters and brothers and aunties, uncles and friends and I'm sure you'll get the picture.
So that is my not so little family. We are crazy and chaotic and usually anyone that comes to visit is put straight to work, treated like one of us and leaves ready for the loony bin hahahahaha!

Until next time xxx

Interesting...

So, I met a guy for the first time the other night. Really nice person. He is a friend of a friend and came over to help me out with some techie stuff. All I had to do in return for his help was to make sure that he got some dinner lol. He was also open to any "messages" that I might receive for him while he was hanging out.

Before he arrived, I was quite aware of his Grandfather hovering around me and grumbling a lot. I did tell Nick (this is what we will call him), and he agreed that this was his grandfathers personality. Grandad was also quite concerned about a picket fence. This is what he kept showing me but Nick had no idea what that meant in relation to his Grandfather. Anyway I tried and tried to get more but there was nothing.

It soon became apparent to me that I was not able to read for this guy because he was way too stressed out. All I could feel was anxiety all around him. When a person has extremely high levels of stress it makes it very hard for me to conduct a reading. From what I could tell he really did not want me to get into his head and he was extremely good at blocking me out. So I wonder did he really want me to read at all or had I frightened him?

Anyway, my point is that if you would really like to be read by a psychic, you need to be open to the idea and the reader or it just isn't going to work. Try to stay calm and know that you will not be told anything frightening if you have found yourself a good, reliable clairvoyant. I myself, do like to be honest about what I am seeing if I think that the client can cope but I will never, ever predict death or anything else that may frighten my client.

Until next time
